A portion of the proceeds of this event will go to benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

The mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is to “Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.”  Since 1949, the non-profit organization has invested more than $550 million in leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma research. Fundraising has been an integral part in their innovative blood cancer research to find a cure for all cancers.  In addition to research support, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society offers support groups, financial aid, information and advocacy programs for patients and their families.
